- Coordinate prepping, cooking, etc. of all food items on production schedule.
- Serves meals to students and staff. Ensures that all meals and sales are properly accounted for.
- Performs and delegates cleaning duties, cleaning of equipment and work areas, dishwashing and pot washing.
- Coordinate ordering and receiving of all food, beverage paper product needed for daily service in unit.
- Manage all daily cash sales; reconcile pos system, complete necessary paperwork neatly and accurately.
- Brews coffee, fills beverage machines, sets up hot and/or cold food area.
- Delivers, when necessary, food to staff, students and catering events.
- Checks and stores incoming supplies.
- Participates on safety committee.
- Attends all mandatory in-service programs.
- Supports the goals, objective and mission statement set forth by Whitsons.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience in team leadership (2yrs minimum) a plus
- Bilingual a plus +
- Must be proficient in recipe procedure, cooking techniques.
- Ability to speak and read English in order to understand and perform job assignments.
- Extensive physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment.
- Always present a positive and professional image.
