    Job Description:


    Metas Solutions has been ' immediately opening' for an experienced Data Analyst Subject Matter Expert (SME) to work Remotely .

    In this position you will perform data visualization and data analytics support for our client to include designing and creating visually informative information that will support storytelling through dashboards, infographics, and videos.

    All products are complying with the clients Data Modernization Initiatives standards.


    Responsibilities:


    Provide SMEs and senior consultancy to the Enterprise Data Governance Office leadership in the creation of strategies for the development of web-based interfaces that are user-friendly and will promote the use of organizational analytical tools and databases by experts in other data domains and the lay public.

    Assist with design and implementation of scientific infrastructure-based solutions, including tools, techniques, and practices, which broaden the use of public health and healthcare data sets and ensure access to data throughout their lives.

    Develop first for best practices on topics such as data collection, analytical methods, data visualization, complex event processing, business performance management (including performance measurement), predictive and prescriptive analytics, decision architecture, and executive reporting.

    Maintain and update the visual information work products on a regular and as needed basis as new data and analyses are available, and as new requirements are provided.

    Develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) use men for topics such as anomaly detection and risk analyses.
    Upload raw and analyzed date to visual information dashboards on a regular and as needed basis.

    Work with CDC staff and end users across multiple OCIOs to clarify frequently required or requested information and develop designs for reporting and visual information dashboard solutions.

    Support to date architecture that encompasses both legacy and contemporary database designs.

    Visually display trends from a variety of data sources, including specific performance data on various grants, financial, human resources, and public health data, and varying stakeholder audiences.

    Must be willing and able to work within time constraints and meet deadlines consistently.
    Must have experienced successfully engaging and communicating with senior executives, other contractors and peers within a fast-paced environment.
    Must have solid oral and written communication skills in order to be successful in this role.


    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred. In lieu of a degree, they had years of relevant experience may be replaced by the degree.

    Well versed and practical experience with contemporary data tools to include:
    TableauPythonMachine Learning Libraries in PythonUtilization and manipulation of data housed in cloud-based systems (i.e. Microsoft Azure, AWS)DatabricksStrong attention to detail and ability to take initiative.

    You must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID-19.


    Preferred Experience:
    A Master's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, MIS, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
    Extensive experience with Tableau publishing and well versed in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server (should be considered a Tableau super user)
