This is an excellent opportunity for highly motivated individual to be the Industrial Fire's sales & use and property tax compliance manager.

This role is highly dynamic and will support cash management and aide in a successful transition of the Industrial Fire business from Carrier to Sentinel Capital Partners in Q3 2024.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead sales tax and property tax compliance, and auditsManage return filing processes, payments,Maintain external outsource firms and advisors for sales tax and property tax complianceHandle complex sales/property tax audits and appeals,Support finance, operations and supply management with transactional tax guidance including contract reviews and related guidanceMeet controls for tax complianceConduct sales/property tax planning as needed

Basic QualificationsBachelors' Degree3+years of sales and use tax experience with a significant emphasis on management of processes, preferably for a large, multistate, corporate tax or accounting firm environment

Preferred QualificationsBachelors' Degree in accounting, finance or related fieldProperty tax compliance experience a plusThorough understanding of sales, use and property tax law and compliance processesUnderstand the functionality of transaction tax software, with an emphasis on Thomson Reuters' OneSource and Tax Compliance' PTMSGood interpersonal skills, including ability and desire to communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with others throughout Tax and Finance organizations at Business UnitsSelf-motivated, able to work independently and under pressureAbility to motivate others to work towards established deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsActive participant in career development and succession planning processesTeamwork - desire to work with others and share responsibilities
