    Job Description
    Our client is a $200M healthcare services provider.


    Oversees the continuous improvement of financial planning and analysis processes and the development of the staff to provide exceptional financial insight and support to the organization.

    Partners with leaders of the organization to identify and understand business opportunities and challenges, proposes innovative solutions.

    Supports the month-end close process. Analyzes departmental operating results and variances vs. budget, forecast, and prior year. Prepares and reviews journal entries based on analysis performed. Creates insightful materials for business reviews.

    Performs business decision analysis of potential acquisitions, business opportunities, and new investments.

    Develops and enhances financial reporting tools and financial models.

    Responsible for departmental cost accounting for the entire organization.

    Leads and participates in cross-functional teams and special projects that support strategic initiatives as assigned.

    Implements, monitors, and evaluates financial planning and analysis policies and procedures, and makes recommendations as necessary.


    Is responsible for the compilation, review, and of the development of all aspects of the annual budget and long-term strategic plans, including operational and capital planning, financial reporting, and development of presentation materials.

    Directly supervises the staff of the financial planning and analysis team. Develops staff; hires, trains, and appraises as required.

    Requirements
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA or Master's degree preferred. 5+ years related experience, including 2+ years in a leadership position. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Advanced Excel skills. Highly developed analytical skills. Progressive knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles. Strategic thinker.
