- Provide instructional materials left by the permanent teacher and ensure that the class continues to run smoothly in their absence
- Manage classroom behaviors using effective, nurturing techniques that promote a safe and stimulating environment for all students
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to deliver daily learning goals effectively
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students during the day
- Maintain a professional attitude and work ethic while fostering a positive learning environment
- Report any student issues and classroom occurrences to school administration
- High School Diplomas
- Certification in Early Childhood Education
- Experience in a classroom management setting preferred but not required
