Piper Companies is currently seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer for an opportunity in Lancaster, Pennsylvania (PA), to join a contract manufacturer for the medical device industry.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop manufacturing quotes, designs, and work instructions, acting as a subject matter expert for manufacturing processes
Drive implementation of manufacturing processes requiring qualification/validation, managing projects and process innovation
Develop and maintain fabrication and assembly methods, estimate manufacturing costs, and conduct design reviews for accuracy and integrity of products
Train employees, troubleshoot production equipment, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain communication with manufacturing for process improvements

Qualifications of the Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

7+ years of hands on experience in stainless or titanium metal processing (precision cutting, machining, bending, welding, & cleaning) in a GMP environment
Highly skilled in CAD/CAM software, CNC programming, and project management
Experienced in developing, implementing, and maintaining methods & routings in the fabrication and assembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final medical devices
Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required

Compensation for the Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Salary Range : $90,000 - $100,000
