    Description
    Role Overview
    The Fire and Security Manager leads a team of Support Technicians in providing technical support and troubleshooting for fire and security alarm systems. They oversee projects, training, and ensure system accuracy, contributing to team success and company goals.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead and manage Systems Support Technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
    • Provide technicians with advanced-level technical support and troubleshooting for Intrusion, Fire alarm, and Access Control systems.
    • Manage and direct installations and service support activities including new location builds, site programming and troubleshooting of intrusion and fire alarm systems, maintaining high standards of performance.
    • Collaborate with other departments and with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of company objectives.
    • Manage and coordinate special projects and advanced programming tasks in collaboration with operation leaders across the company.
    • Manage high-level action pattern requests and transmitter programming/changes as needed.
    • Create and update training materials for team members and technicians, fostering continuous improvement.
    • Ensure the accuracy and quality of data entry programming by performing regular reviews.
    • All other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
    • Strong technical knowledge of Intrusion, Fire alarm, and Access Control systems.
    • Experience in advanced programming and troubleshooting of security systems.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in various system software and tools.
    • Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and systems.
    • Relevant certifications in security systems and programming are a plus.
    • Knowledge of DMP, Honeywell and Videofied are a plus.
    • Knowledge of Networking a plus.
    • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft applications or desire and ability to learn
    Work Requirements:
    • Position is considered sedentary
    • Requires extended periods of PC exposure
    • As well as availability for on call support after normal business hours as needed
