    Pediatric General Surgeon Äì El Paso, Texas

    Position Details

    FT, permanent position Actively seeking a BC/BE Pediatric General Surgeon to join a growing practice Schedule: 2 Äì3 clinic days and 1 Äì2 surgical days per week

    Clinic Hours:
    Monday Äì
    Friday Shared Call Schedule: 1:3

    Clinic Location:
    Medical Office Building adjacent to hospital
    Patient Census: 6 Äì10 per clinic day 5 Äì8 surgeries per week Hospital: 110-bed pediatric hospital with 40-bed general pediatric unit, 16-bed PICU, and new 30-bed Level IV NICU Support: Board-Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologists, Pediatric Hospitalists, and 24/7 in-house Neonatologists Benefits Details

    MD/DO degree BE/BC in Pediatric Surgery Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one About the Facility The Children Äôs Hospital is a 148-bed facility dedicated to providing quality pediatric care in a child-friendly, family-oriented environment.

    As part of the hospital network, the Children Äôs Hospital serves the pediatric population of El Paso and surrounding regions, including patients from across the U.S.

    ÄìMexico border.

    The hospital Äôs specialized team includes pediatric sub-specialists in cardiology, genetics, infectious diseases, nephrology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pathology, radiology, pulmonology, surgery, oncology, hematology, neurology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and neonatology.

    Nursing staff hold certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Community Details El Paso, located in far west Texas along the U.S.
