    Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has a thrilling opportunity for an Experienced Project Management Specialist to join the Business Transformation team in El Segundo, CA.

    This role will lead, develop, integrate, analyze, and maintain plans and schedules for very complex projects, programs, and change-driven activities.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Develops performance reports and collaborates with various sources to identify and understand variances to present to Senior Leaders
    • Offers recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
    • Assists clients in creating a performance recovery plan and ensures all project control systems are in place to provide ongoing support to stakeholders
    • Serves as the primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
    • Creates, enhances, and refines estimating models and databases
    • Leads/supports special project assignments

    This role requires the ability to acquire a U.S. Security Clearance, for which U.S. Citizenship is mandated. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearance Post-Start is mandatory.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor's degree or higher
    • 5+ years' experience in change management, program planning, project management, integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering, or Business Operations
    • 3+ years' experience with end-to-end project/program management: conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance monitoring, and project closure
    • Experience leading projects using Project Management Best Practices and tools

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Experience with Open Plan Professional
    • Experience with Microsoft Project
    • Experience with Milestone Professional
    • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
    • Applies a logical approach to enhance processes and address problems
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
    • Aptitude to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet program and/or project requirements

    Typical Education & Experience:

    Education/experience typically obtained through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and usually 10 or more years' related work experience or an analogous combination of education and experience (e.g., Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

    Relocation:

    Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must reside in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

    Compensation is based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

    Approximate pay range: USD $115,600 – $156,400
