Sampson Regional Medical Center, located in Clinton, NC, is seeking an experienced board-certified Emergency Medicine physician to join its Emergency Medicine team.
With an average daily volume of 90-100, we seek a skilled and experienced physician who is comfortable with being the solo provider and who maintains a strong focus and commitment to providing outstanding and compassionate care to all patients.
This is a nights-only OR mixed days/nights position with a required schedule of 12-14 shifts per month. A physician will be expected to act as a solo physician covering Emergency Department. Shift times will be 7A-7P and/or 7P - 7A.Employment or 1099 contract opportunity
~22-bed Emergency Department with strong Physician Assistant support
~24-hour hospitalist and radiology coverage
~ Wide scope of services provided at the hospital including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, and Urology
~ Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients when needed
~ Ability to live in close proximity to Raleigh or Wilmington, North Carolina
~ Family-friendly community with an affordable cost of living
