    As part of our Engineering Production Support team, you'll join a diverse group of driven individuals who support production efforts for some of the US Navy's primary weapons systems, supporting our military's capabilities, helping to protect national security.     BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to continue to build their skills within our team, supporting production of the US Navy's major and medium caliber gun weapon systems. This is an exciting and dynamic job opportunity where you'll not only work on important projects, but help advance the US Navy's global dominance of the seas.
    In this position, you will be supporting the Combat Mission Systems (CMS) Business at our Louisville, KY facility. This position will report onsite on a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off).
    As a Lead Production Support Electrical Engineer with BAE Systems you will:

    • Work with production personnel helping them set up and test Naval Weapons Systems
    • Aid in drawing interpretations
    • Troubleshoot issues with the production and test teams
    • Perform updates and revisions to drawings and schematics
    • Analyze operational data from test events
    • Learn new programming skills


    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 6 years experience in a production support environment
    • Possess and exhibit a level of mechanical aptitude
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
    • Proficient technical writing ability


    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    • Experience with Program Logic Control (PLC) programming
    • Experienced using test equipment, i.e. data acquisition units, multimeters, o-scopes
    • Experience with Visio
    • Experience with CAD software
    • Knowledge of military specifications and Mil-Spec cabling and harnesses


    Pay Information
    Full-Time Salary Range: $ $173700
    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
