    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our company's accounting functions and ensure the integrity of financial information. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing a team of accounting professionals, overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, deep knowledge of accounting principles, and a track record of driving process improvements.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
      • Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
      • Provide insights and analysis on financial performance to senior management.
      • Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes.
    2. General Ledger Management:
      • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger through proper account reconciliation and review.
      • Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
      • Perform regular reviews of journal entries, accruals, and other accounting transactions.
    3. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
      • Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.
      • Monitor accounts receivable aging and take appropriate actions to minimize bad debt exposure.
      • Review and approve vendor payments and expense reimbursements.
    4. Payroll Processing and Compliance:
      • Oversee payroll processing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
      • Coordinate payroll tax filings and reporting requirements.
      • Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
    5. Financial Planning and Budgeting:
      • Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with senior management and department heads.
      • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis and recommendations to achieve financial targets.
      • Develop long-term financial plans and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
    6. Audit and Compliance Management:
      • Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors during annual audits and regulatory examinations.
      • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
      • Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
    7. Team Leadership and Development:
      • Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
      • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
      • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
    • Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial roles.
    • Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP).
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, finance) is a plus.
