- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Provide insights and analysis on financial performance to senior management.

- General Ledger Management:

- Review and approve vendor payments and expense reimbursements.
- Payroll Processing and Compliance:
- Oversee payroll processing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinate payroll tax filings and reporting requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Financial Planning and Budgeting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with senior management and department heads.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis and recommendations to achieve financial targets.
- Develop long-term financial plans and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Audit and Compliance Management:
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors during annual audits and regulatory examinations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial roles.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, finance) is a plus.
