- Sorts linen for rooms, food & beverage, golf, recreation
- Loads soiled linen into washer and washes according to procedures.
- Loads dryer and drys clean linen according to standards.
- Knows the operating unction of the laundry machines.
- Removes lint from dryer lint traps once daily.
- Runs clean linen though ironer.
- Folds towels and other bath linens by hand.
- Places folded linen on marked shelves and loads housekeeping buggies for aides.
- Ensures certain washers are in use before taking breaks to augment efficiency.
- Assists Aides, Room Attendant and Public Space Attendants when needed.
- Customer Service –Adheres to the Coral Hospitality Basics of Service standards.

Job Description
Job DescriptionSummary: Under the direct supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, this position assists in the processing of soiled linen on a daily basis and maintains the laundry area in a clean and orderly basis.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Essential Functions:
Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
