About This Position:As Welder/Fitter for Craftsmen Resources, you will be involved in multiple construction and industrial projects throughout the year.
As a welder, you may be tasked with the following:
Read and Interpret Blueprints, and Diagrams.
Layout, measure, and cut structural parts, bracing, supports.
Position, align, and fit parts together.
Tack-weld parts to secure in position for final welding.
Ability to setup welding machine for required welding process.
Visually inspect fit and weld to meet shop quality expectations.
Understand and Identify welding symbolsTrain and/or direct shop helpers as necessary.
Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required by site.
Promote and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Other responsibilities as directed by site foreman.
Pay is DOE $16 - $25 / hour
Job Requirements:Candidate must have at least 2 years of structural fitting and welding experience.
Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 90 pounds, and push and pull objects as required.
Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, crouch, crawl, kneel, and reach.
Work at least 40 hours per week, and overtime as required.
Ability to work well with others.
