As they continue to expand the operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controller to contribute to the ongoing success by joining the team.

    The Role

    As the Controller, you will play a key role in managing the financial health and integrity of the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, accounting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly evolving environment.     Responsibilities
    • Oversee and complete day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
    • Monitor and improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Collaborate with team leads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Monitor budget performance and provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and other ad hoc reports as required.
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
    • Manage cash flow and liquidity to support the company's achievement of operational and strategic objectives.
    • Implement strategies to optimize working capital and minimize financial risk.
    • Work with the CFO to implement internal controls
    • Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and ensure the company's compliance.
    • Develop and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
    • As financial complexities and required activities increase with the company's growth, work alongside the CFO in scaling the Finance team
    • Support the CFO and other leadership in evaluating strategic opportunities and initiatives for the company.
    • Assist in building and refining the financial infrastructure of the company, focusing on precision and accuracy in reporting.
    • Collaborate with the CFO to ensure alignment of financial strategy with overall business goals.
    • Lead efforts in transitioning to an ERP system, working closely with IT and project management teams.
    • Oversee accounting functions with a strong emphasis on GAAP compliance and financial control.
    • Prepare for a review engagement and eventual full financial statement audit project to achieve audited statements for 2025.
    • Work closely with the finance team to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
    • Measure and analyze KPIs and ROIs to evaluate performance against established plans.
    • Support the CFO in driving business growth initiatives and decision-making processes.
    • Demonstrate commitment to the company's long-term success by learning the business and potentially growing into a leadership role.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
    • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles and budgeting processes.
    • Proven experience in managing and leading a finance team.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
