A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support students in a school setting located in Decatur, AL.
This role emphasizes delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to enhance student communication skills and academic performance.Key Qualifications And Experience
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or required
Experience providing speech and language therapy to school-aged children
Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset for working with educators and families
Knowledge of school-based special education regulations and therapy integration
Primary Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans targeting speech, language, voice, and fluency goals
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
Participate in meetings and provide consultation as needed
