This position is based in The Villages FL, and surrounding areas.
Your Role as a Speech Therapist:
- Provide speech therapy services to patients in their homes on an intermittent basis.
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing conditions.
- Develop personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans in collaboration with patients and caregivers.
- Deliver therapy based on physician orders and care plans under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services or Clinical Manager.
- Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and swallowing function.
Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of practice (required).
- Medicare OASIS documentation proficiency (required).
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance (required).
- Two years of experience in speech therapy (preferred).
