    SUMMARY

    TheProject Manager position includes, butis not limited to:

    Providing overall management direction for existing projects and developing new business opportunities relative to a particular client, group of clients, geographical area, or type of project.

    Project manager works with clients to develop project scope of work, budgeting and estimating costs, oversees preparation of documents, and HVAC, mechanical piping, and plumbing plans.

    Project manager assists in procurement of equipment and materials and is responsible for reviewing, reporting, and projecting all project-related costs.

    Project manager maintains effective communication and relationships between clients, vendors, and project teams

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Develop and maintain professional communication with co-workers, vendors and clients
    Represent company in project start-up, progress, commission, and close-out meetings
    Review job estimates and prepare project budgets
    Review contract drawings, detail drawings, and specifications
    Initiate, estimate and negotiate change orders
    Prepare and review submittals
    Respond timely to inquiries from vendors, clients and management
    Track and forecast labor costs, report labor hours, materials, and sub-contractor costs
    Prepare and review progress billings and assist with collections as needed
    Purchase, expedite and track deliveries of major equipment/materials
    Maintain working knowledge of general conditions, work scope, and specifications of project contract/subcontract
    Maintain and control documents in compliance with ES Fagan standards as well as contractual compliance
    Supervise superintendents and project foremen on assigned projects
    Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy
    Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate problematic situations and implement corrective measures
    Ensure full compliance with ES Fagan safety policy

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction science and/or related field with minimum 5 years of industry experience is preferred
    Excellent oral and written communication skills
    Ability to problem solve
    Familiarity with a wide variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures
    Working knowledge of construction contract language and terms
    Familiarity with local market is highly desirable
