Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Sr. Buyer for an outdoor products manufacturing company dedicated to providing high-quality gear and equipment to outdoor enthusiasts. This would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in Buying looking to further their career
Source and procure raw materials, components, and finished goods from domestic and international suppliers.
Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure competitive pricing.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and identify new suppliers to expand the supplier base and mitigate supply chain risks.
Monitor and track purchase orders, shipments, and deliveries to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Stay informed about industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement strategies.
Provide regular reports and updates to management on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance metrics.
