We are looking for a carpentry specialist to join our apartment maintenance staff. We guarantee 40 hours a week, no rain days ever. We also have opportunity for overtime work at double pay. Please note, that this position would not only be for carpentry work but would include a little bit of every trade, but we are looking for a carpentry specialist that can be our go to guy for decks, framing, trim work, subfloor repairs, etc. If you don't have experience in other trades it is not a problem as we are willing to invest in training the right candidate to be a long term member of our maintenance staff.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carpentry: Repairing or rebuilding decks, subfloors, fencing, framing, trim work, etc
• Plumbing: Repairing and unclogging toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and exterior drains.
• Electrical: Repairing or replacing electrical outlets, GFI's, ceiling fans, lights, breakers, etc
• Carpentry: Repairing or rebuilding decks, subfloors, fencing, etc
• HVAC: Diagnosing and repairing HVAC units
• Picking up property grounds disposing of trash found in communal areas.
• Using heavy Equipment (we have a backhoe and bobcat)
• Painting communal areas and exterior walls.
• Drywall repairs
• Unlocking apartments in instances where tenants have lost or forgotten their keys.
• Miscellaneous special projects

Requirements

• You must provide your own truck, tools, and cell phone. You will be paid an allowance to use these on the job.
• Must be able to pass a drug test (we are a drug-free work place)
