About the Service

The South Metropolitan Health Service is opening a Specialist Community Eating Disorder Service for individuals aged 16+ with an eating disorder.

The service will provide multidisciplinary specialist assessment and treatment for individuals 16+ with an eating disorder.

The treatment model is person-centred and inclusive of family and supports, offering an individualised and recovery focused treatment approach. Service functions will include individual and group components. The service model is designed to support integrated care with local primary, secondary and tertiary services, to provide coordinated wrap-around support and seamless transitions between levels of care.

We're recruiting both experienced staff and those who would like to upskill

We are seeking a range of health clinicians with an interest in eating disorders to form a team to deliver accessible, client-centred, and evidence-based care. All relevant comprehensive training, education and supervision will be provided, and you will be supported to become ANZAED credentialed.
