- Carry out dental cleanings for patients of all ages, including scaling and root planing when necessary.
- Perform thorough evaluations of oral health, which involve checking medical history and taking dental x-rays.
- Teach patients effective oral hygiene practices such as brushing, flossing, and providing nutritional advice.
- Administer local anesthesia and give fluoride treatments as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and conduct dental charting.
- Sanitize dental tools and uphold a clean and orderly workspace.
- Work closely with other dental team members to ensure the best possible care for patients.
- Must hold a valid dental hygiene license in Nebraska.
- Previous experience is a plus but not obligatory.
