    The Opportunity

    As part of the product engineering team, you'll play a key role in shaping the next generation email security product experience. Working in a small, cross-functional engineering team, you will work closely with our customers, product, engineering, data science and design team to collaborate, influence, and impact products that our customers use every single day. You will have the opportunity to tackle product challenges across all spectrums, from spearheading new product verticals, developing and iterating end-to-end features, to being engineering's direct liaison and solutions expert to our customers.

    Our customers will rely upon the products you create to protect their organizations from the latest and most sophisticated cyber attacks.

    What You Will Do

  • Design, build, and maintain new high performance, low latency security products and services
  • Design, build, and maintain API services to support new and existing security products
  • Work closely with the Infrastructure and Product Management teams to assess trade-offs, develop plans, and build foundations to scale our existing products for very large datasets.
  • Build and integrate automation tools to speed up and improve the experience of product development.
  • Setup and maintain instrumentation, monitoring, and alerting for our services.

    Who You Are

  • 3+ years experience writing production systems (preferably in Python)
  • You have a proven track record of developing and maintaining complex production systems.
  • You have experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver world class products.
  • You have experience building and maintaining complex, heavily-used APIs.
  • You have experience building and integrating automation tools.
  • You're familiar with event-driven architecture.
  • You have worked on large-scale systems that can scale horizontally.
  • You're self-driven, detail-oriented, and care about code quality, testing, and customer-driven product experience.
  • Experience migrating legacy systems to new architectures and languages is a plus.
  • Experience with Go is a plus.
