Job Summary

Vickers and Nolan Enterprises (VNE) is seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer III to join our team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation of hybrid software, web, and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance.

Main Responsibilities

Develop and integrate complex systems, including network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices.
Lead and participate in meetings and working groups to communicate project requirements and progress.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions using Agile methodologies.
Create and maintain documentation, including knowledge base articles, procedure manuals, and technical guides.
Maintain Secret level Clearance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Seven years of IT professional experience, with five years of technical experience in support of ISR/IO.
Experience with full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment using Agile methodologies.
Proficient with utilizing DevOps tools for build, test, patch automation, and CM.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions

Occasional standing, walking, sitting, and use of hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds may be required.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
