    Description

    A Naples, FL-based nonprofit healthcare provider is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Rehab team. Offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus, this opportunity includes working in the on-campus inpatient and outpatient cardiac rehabilitation programs. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in cardiology-related patient care, with knowledge of cardiac diseases and physiology, risk stratification, exercise physiology, and nutrition. Basic and advanced life support certifications are required.

    Responsibilities for this role include:

    • Developing and implementing educational plans for the cardiovascular inpatient population
    • Providing individualized goal-based care plans
    • Coordinating with other healthcare professionals to facilitate CABG discharge classes and the phase I to phase II transition process
    • Assisting with performance improvement initiatives and seeking to improve job skills
    • Assessing and handling emergent patient situations

    This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule, including eight-hour shifts. The Cardiac Rehab team at our healthcare system is an essential component of our Advanced Community Healthcare System.
