Description
Position Summary:
- Describe anatomy and steps for surgeries

- Support mentoring and teaching processes

- Actively engage in professional development
Participate in the development and implementation of educational programs for surgical technologists. Display proficiency in performing surgical technology skills across general and specialized cases.
Minimum Requirements:
Must hold a license and current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State. Alternatively, eligibility for certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists through completion of a formal certificate or degree program in Surgical Technology. One year of experience as a Surgical Technologist or in a similar role within an acute care setting is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Work Schedule:
Part-time (0.5 FTE) role with shifts during days, evenings, and nights as per operational needs. Weekend and holiday rotations, along with on-call duties, may be required.
Compensation:
Salary Grade 12
