    Job DescriptionThe Technical Support Specialist reports to the Senior Fleet Manger and is responsible for reviewing and writing technical documents and data for in-service and heavy-check engineering, maintenance and repair support, and configuration support monitoring.

    The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for monitoring manufacturer's maintenance requirements and updating maintenance program manuals, as applicable. The Technical Support Specialist will also incorporate any regulatory requirements into the maintenance program, as needed.


    Specific:
    Monitors changes to the manufacturer's maintenance requirements.

    Prepares maintenance program revision submittal approvals for presentation to the IRB.Presents selected or requested modifications to the IRB for approval.

    Coordinates documentation and interfaces with the FAA regarding maintenance program revisions and associated issues.
    Reviews manufacturer's service bulletins.

    Documents incorporation of all Service Bulletins (SBs).Prepares Fleet Campaign Directives (FCDs).Prepares Technical Support Directives (TSDs).Oversees the maintenance program revision process as outlined in the Mesa Airlines, Inc.

    General Procedures Manual and the applicableMaintenance Program Manual as assigned by the Fleet Manager(s).Responsible to ensure when work/task cards are generated that they accurately describe the scheduled maintenance or routine function.

    Reviews regulatory compliance data for incorporation into the maintenanceprogram, as required.
    Performs other duties as assigned by the Senior Fleet Manager.
    RequirementsHold a Mechanic's certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings(preferred).Have a general knowledge of maintenance and inspection programs.
    Have a general knowledge of aircraft systems and components.
