- Support the global inbound transportation network (origin, first mile, global mile, final mile).
- Monitor inbound carrier performance and provide analytical insights.
- Collaborate with supply chain functions within the organization.
- Provide feedback to transportation providers across all segments.
- Procure optimal transportation providers for inbound segments.
- Ensure providers meet on-time delivery requirements.
- Handle escalations and ensure provider expectations are met.
- Identify efficiency opportunities in transportation sourcing and operations.
- Negotiate contract agreements for inbound transportation segments.
- Prepare and report data for MBRs and QBRs to senior leadership.
- Develop and deliver transportation performance reports.
- Collaborate cross-functionally for process improvements and cost management.
- Analyze transportation data to enhance operations.
- Build relationships with various business functions and partners.
- Manage freight procurement, rate management, and financial analysis.
- Train vendors, suppliers, and teams to meet global delivery requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for carrier and service provider systems.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, transportation & logistics, supply chain, computer science, or finance.
- 5+ years of experience in international trade, logistics, or transportation.
- Experience with Ocean Carriers, 3PL Operations, Freight Forwarders, and Air Freight Forwarders.
- Working knowledge of Incoterms.
- Strong transportation strategy and execution experience.
- Preferred experience in managing direct reports.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong SQL knowledge.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and make effective decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and effective working relationships.
- Attention to detail in planning and execution while understanding the big picture.
- Ability to anticipate the impact of decisions on various stakeholders.
- Demonstrates innovation and initiative, willing to dive into details to improve products and processes.
