    The Department of Statistics at Columbia University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions for the academic year of We are looking for experienced professionals with expertise in statistics, probability, computation, and/or data science and an interest in teaching and mentoring curious and energetic students in a statistics classroom. Adjunct faculty teaches at most one course each semester. The department offers a wide range of courses in statistics, probability, and data science at both undergraduate and graduate levels. A robust proportion of our courses are offered in the late afternoons and evenings.

    Ph.D. in statistics or a related field by the date of appointment, as is a commitment to high-quality teaching in statistics, probability, or data science. Preference will be given to applicants with previous teaching experiences and strong communication skills.
