Role Description

I'm trying to build the thing that's gonna replace TikTok. Cause fuck Meta. Who's with me? You need to be a mobile app developer who is passionate about freedom of speech and information. I hate to go full Elon, but sites like TikTok and LinkedIn are getting unusable and it's literally ruining the world. Let's change that

I'm starting to build a team of people, and have an AI dev on deck so far. So for this role, I need a mobile app dev who can partner with the UX designer, UI designer, and AI dev to help bring this thing to life. It needs to be able to work on Android and iOS, and it has to be accessible AF. Does that sound like something you want to help with?? :)

This is a role with flexible hours and location. Proximity to Boston is preferred but not required. This role is a contract position specific to this project, but with the (pretty likely) ability to stay on for future work upon completion.

Qualifications

• Mobile Application Development and Application Development skills
• iOS and Android Development experience
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good at communicating with designers and people w/o tech knowledge
• Need to be an obsessive problem solver type (neurodivergent folks encouraged)
• Has to care a ton about UX and psychology
• Ability to partner effectively with an AI developer and UI designer
• Experience with screen reader and accessible mobile dev
• Familiarity with design systems like iOS and Material is preferred
