    Job Description

    Large Private Preschool Program serving children from Toddlers thru Kindergarten is seeking a Science Teacher. Ideal candidate has a broad knowledge of science, a love of children and is passionate about inspiring them to explore the wonders of the world around them.

    Our school and curriculum is unique for a pre-school. We are set on a beautiful 15 acre campus with its own science building including live animals, ample supplies for experiments and a garden that students actively work in.

    Typical hours are from 8:30 AM until 3:45 PM daily.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Preparing Lesson Plans
    • Meeting with Education Director and other staff for curriculum
    • Set up and conduct Lessons
    • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of science room - including animals
    • Attending any staff meetings as needed
    • All required paperwork as per school and NYS regulations

    Great opportunity for veteran or new teacher seeking new and rewarding experience. Our veteran Science teacher will be on hand to guide and mentor as needed the new teacher taking over the position.
