    Job Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Serve as main point of contact for customers regarding contracts and projects, acting as the direct link between customers and project execution.
    • Lead team activities to meet program milestones and track progress on a day-to-day basis.
    • Ensure project deliverables comply with contract requirements and regulations, including regular status reports.
    • Execute programs in line with business objectives and customer requirements.
    • Manage program development from start to finish, ensuring quality control throughout.
    • Estimate resources needed for project goals and negotiate with department managers when necessary.
    • Develop project structures, team setups, plans, schedules, and cost structures with clear goals and key success factors.
    • Create and maintain project files to record key information and events.
    • Lead a dispersed program support team to review contract requirements, ensure compliance, and define solutions.
    • Monitor project progress from sales to installation, managing work packages effectively.
    • Manage changes in program scope, identify crises, and create contingency plans.
    • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
    • Implement Project Management, Risk & Opportunity, and Earned Value Management System processes.
    • Make decisions and lead complex projects effectively.
    • Track and report project performance milestones and budgets.
    • Provide internal business performance tracking and reporting for each program.
    • Communicate effectively with program stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with sales and proposal teams to identify new business opportunities.
    • Build and maintain business relationships critical to program success.
    • Conduct program evaluations and suggest improvements.
    • Uphold company values and Code of Ethics.
    • Report quality issues to management for corrective action.
    • Roles and responsibilities may change to meet business needs.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration or a technical field.
    • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification required.
    • Minimum of ten years of government program management experience.
    • TSA security clearance capability required.
    • Experience with DHS TSA and aviation programs preferred.
    • Knowledge of TSA Transport Security Equipment Qualification Process.
    • Experience with Non-TSA DHS or DOD programs a plus.
    • Experience in airport security and baggage handling systems preferred.
    • Experience in leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong prioritization, customer relationship, and acquisition skills required.
    • Effective communication, leadership, problem-solving skills needed.
    • Proficiency in various software applications.
    • Experience in R&D or Product Manufacturing beneficial.
    • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
