    SummarySpecial Events Associates:
    The Sugar Land Space Cowboys are looking for a special events associate. The Special events department executes all non-baseball events at Constellation Field.

    The special events team hosts event such as, but not limited to, college baseball games, concerts, festivals, tournaments, and private events.

    This position will give you the opportunity to learn the process of executing an event from start to finish. This position will require working nights and weekends, as most events are held during these times.

    Help plan and budget for eventsWork alongside clients from start to finishAssist in the permitting process for each eventMake sales calls and inquire about potential eventsTake on responsibilities for Sugar Land Holiday LightsWork on Social Media and Marketing for eventsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsKeen attention to detailStrong organization skillsStrong work ethicRequires the ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to work as a team playerMust have reliable transportation and be able to do voucher drop offs, hand out flyers, etc.

    Social Media experience is preferredWork EnvironmentThis job operates in an office setting and working around the ballpark. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
    Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

    The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision.
    This role will include the usage of power tools.
    TravelMinimal local travel is expected for this role.
