    Caseload: 60 Students

    Requirements:

    • Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license/certification in the state of Arizona.
    • Completion of 2-3 reference checks from previous supervisors or colleagues.
    • Possession of an active IVP fingerprint card and number.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
    • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in educational settings.
    • Knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment techniques, and therapeutic interventions.
    • Ability to implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, families, and educational staff.
    • Flexibility, patience, and creativity in addressing the diverse needs of students.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct speech and language services to students on the caseload under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
    • Implement therapy sessions and activities designed to address individualized goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with the supervising SLP to assess students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students receiving speech services.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork.
    • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians, teachers, and other school personnel regarding students' speech and language needs and progress.
    • Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and other school-related events as required.
