- Supervises student activities and events
- Develops and maintains positive relationships and timely communication with all stakeholders
- Assists with the management of the school building
- Demonstrates effective leadership in all facets of the school day
- Provides instructional leadership through collaborative teacher teams and the MTSS process
- Promotes the positive image of the school and celebrates achievements of students and staff
- Is involved in IEP meetings and other issues pertaining to special education
- Iowa Administrator Certification with endorsement 189, 170 and 190, along with evaluator approval
- Noise level is quiet to loud. Work may be indoors and/or outdoors. Work may be in non-air-conditioned rooms. Tobacco and alcohol-free environment. Fast-paced atmosphere with constant contact with students, staff, or the public. Direct responsibility for the safety, well-being, and work output of students and staff.
- Master's Degree in secondary school administration and Evaluator Certification
- Administrative experience and/or building/district leadership experiences preferred
- Successful secondary teaching and extracurricular duties experiences preferred

Duties & Responsibilities:
