Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to join our team and drive the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. In this vital role, you will coordinate project activities, facilitate communication among stakeholders, and ensure that projects adhere to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help us deliver exceptional results on time and within scope, fueling our commitment to excellence in construction management.
Duties
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing construction estimates and budgets utilizing construction estimating tools.
- Coordinate procurement processes, including tracking contracts, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits and updates, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Manage document control using Bluebeam or comparable software to review drawings, specifications, change orders, and RFIs (Requests for Information).
- Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and keep projects on track.
- Support contract administration by reviewing contractual obligations and tracking deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and change logs.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and project scheduling methodologies.
- Experience with Bluebeam for document review and markup processes.
- Solid understanding of construction contracts, safety regulations, and site management practices.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites is highly desirable to understand field operations thoroughly.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and quality assurance procedures.
