Need
The Teamcenter Developer works as part of the Air Force Program Lifecycle Management (AF-PLM) Capability Support Office (CSO) onboarding and client engagement team to elicit requirements, recommend designs, install Teamcenter and configure product to include BMIDE, workflows and connections to ancillary products (e.g., SQL Server).
This position requires an expert understanding of Teamcenter.The ideal candidate must be able to elicit functional requirements and assist clients in trade-space analysis to evolve efficient and effective solution configurations.
An understanding of configuration best practices and the ability to "firefight" issues to resolution is key. Understanding of Agile software development and the AF-PLM arena is ideal.This developer will be part of a broader solution team so, expertise in all areas of Teamcenter is not a requirement, however, it is expected that the developer is able, create business objects / attributes, work with style sheets for data presentation within Teamcenter, interact with the BMIDE to invoke necessary templates, configure simple workflows, configure organization / groups / roles, and collaborate with other team members to resolve issues.
The ideal candidate is located near Dayton OH to support future configuration and data load work on client site. Full telework will be considered.What

Elicit requirements from clients
Support trade-space analysis with clients to evolve efficient and effective configurations
Size environments (VMs, GPUs, CPUs, RAM) and advise system administrators on infrastructure needs
Advise on Teamcenter technical stack
Create briefings and technical documents to assist clients in trade-space decisions
Extend Teamcenter data model to support client data management needs
Configure workflows
Support bulk migration of data into Teamcenter
Test deployed solutions and troubleshoot anomalies to resolution
Coordinate issue resolution with GTAC and similar infrastructure / software support activities
Analyze system performance and optimize
Provide Teamcenter expertise and guidance to teammebers
Coordinate with Scrum Master, Product Owners, Information System Security Engineering (ISSE), Engineering Subject Matter Experts and Infrastructure/Network administrators on broader team to accomplish objectives
Supervision:
Small group team dynamics and training Junior Digital Engineering professionals to become the next Solutions Architect.
Your
Qualifications
Required
US Citizen
5+ years of digital engineering technology experience
Expert understanding of Siemens product installation and configuration with special emphasis on Teamcenter
Strong spoken and written English skills
Experience delivering presentations to clients
Able to acquire / maintain an IAT II certification such as Security +
Adequate home working environment to include dedicated office-space to enable productive remote work
Experience interoperating digital engineering technologies and files (e.g., Multi-CAD)
Desired
Experience building MS Office documents and briefings
Experience with other digital engineering product suites such as those offered by PTC, Dassault, Autodesk
Experience with data management and extract/transform/load (ETL) processes within Teamcenter
Bachelor's Degree
Air Force experience
Agile software development experience
DevSecOps experience
