    We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team in EAPC's Grand Forks, ND office This position will be responsible for all the accounts payable administrative functions and will assist in ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations related record management.

    As an Accounts Payable/Records Management Assistant at EAPC, you will:

    • Manage accounts payable
    • File documents in accordance with records management regulations
    • Fulfil insurance certificate requests in a timely manner
    • Provide back-up to administrative assistant to cover breaks and absences
    • Assist in organizing storage documents
    • Assist with licensure tracking
    • Fulfill miscellaneous office duties using standard office equipment such as binders, copiers, fax machines, personal computers, calculators, and shredders.
    • Create, modify, and maintain a corporate records retention policy
    • Periodically review records to determine status and if inactive, prepare to be properly stored for the duration of their established retention period.
    • Review stored documents annually to determine which records are eligible for destruction
    • Ensure records are removed, destroyed, and documented according to the approved records retention schedule
    • Assist employees with retrieval of active and inactive records
    • Create and maintain electronic file structures for active and inactive projects

    To join us, you should have:

    • High school diploma or GED; Associates preferred
    • Must have working knowledge of general accounting practices
    • Must have working knowledge of MS Office
    • One year office experience, or equivalent in education
    • Ability to get along well with others
    • Must be a self-starter and be detail oriented
    • Must have strong communications skills
    • Must Possess Valid Driver's license
    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
