Business Systems Analyst V
Location: Remote
Duration: 1-year contract with the potential for extension.
Start: Targeting July 2024

Summary:
The primary role of this position is to assist in reviewing and refining enhancement requests for various first-party and third-party applications. It involves working closely with business stakeholders to clarify problem statements, requirements, and priorities, and translating them into detailed technical requirements for engineering partners. The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for analyzing user needs, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), providing status updates, gathering necessary information, and managing multiple requests simultaneously across different business and engineering teams. Additionally, this role will involve collaborating with solution designers on long-term projects to develop functional and business requirements documents, plan UAT, and provide support during project implementation.

Job Description:

Consistent and clear communication of status updates, blockers, and information required for processing enhancement requests.
Collaborating with requestors to define problem statements, success criteria, and business priorities for requests.
Validating business justifications and impact statements, and applying an enhancement impact scoring framework.
Organizing requirements and working with stakeholders and engineering partners to address queries from both sides.
Quickly adapting to various internal tools and applications, and possessing the ability to locate information efficiently through documentation and expert consultations.
Applying design and governance principles to refine requirements and prioritize stakeholder needs.
Learning and enhancing enhancement request and project processes.
Handling escalations from stakeholders with a balanced approach of empathy and organizational priorities.

Skills:

Experience in requirements gathering, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
Independent work ability and time management.
Expertise in solution design and business system governance.
Familiarity with business applications and architecture.
Preferred familiarity with Workday.

Solution Design Experience across various applications with a focus on improvement and problem-solving.
Ability to quickly adapt and learn new tools.

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with Workday and Springcm.
Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently.
Knowledge of change control board processes is beneficial.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field like Management Information Systems or Computer Science (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
