Description

Seeking a Field Superintendent to oversee installation and transportation for large concrete construction company. This position is a full-time position that will support the Construction department, working primarily on job sites. The Field Superintendent is responsible for supervising and completing project fieldwork through direct site supervision of subcontractors, regular site visits, and inspections.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and plan all field operations to ensure the profitable completion of projects
• Assist with bidding and budgeting information as required
• Organize, supervise, and lead the field employees needed to start and complete projects within budget and meet customer expectations.
• Assess strengths/weaknesses within the field department, identifying and enacting corrective measures to improve safety, quality, productivity and cost savings
• Ensure approved work instructions, procedures and best practices are followed
• Manage field assets to ensure first time quality on projects, while providing on-time delivery, as well as timely completion of the project
• Provide exemplary service to internal and external customers
• Ensure a safe working environment on jobsites for employees by upholding the high safety standards set by company and meeting ISO and OSHA requirements
• Utilize Microsoft Office products and proprietary software via computer and/or tablet
• Other projects and duties as assigned
