    Seeking a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant with at least 2 years of Inpatient Cardiology experience.

    The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner is a licensed independent practitioner who is manages cardiology patients under the direction of the Cardiovascular Service Director.

    • Flexible, able to prioritize and address multiple responsibilities concurrently.
    • Works effectively under stress and frequently changing job requirements/situations.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Maintains confidentiality, thinks and acts independently with minimal supervision.
    • Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location.
    • Interpersonal skills necessary to work productively with patient, families, other healthcare staff, and other departments.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Personal responsibility for ongoing educational growth, and collaborating with others to provide solutions for continued patient quality.
    Shift(s)

    Description:
    Days (Four 10-hour days)

    8:00 am-4:30 pm clinic hours

    6:00 am-4:30 pm Cath lab hours
    Opening due to growth and expansion of services
    No call, no weekends
    Rotate: 1 week in hospital, 1 week in clinic
    Willingness to provide outreach services to nearby critical access hospitals
    Outpatient Clinic-15-18 patients per day
    Cath lab-6-8 patients per day
    4 physicians on staff
