- Use key metrics to meet new girl and adult volunteer leads goals.
- Actively engage in targeted recruiting per outlined requirements within the assigned footprint.
- Collaborate with schools and other Community Organizations to identify engagement opportunities, including sending resources, dropping off flyers to upcoming events, and attending in-person school-based events that directly increase new girl leads.
- Responsible for ensuring all leads are entered for events within the required timeframes.
- experience in sales or membership recruiting.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a strong ability to influence.
- Ability to cultivate, foster, maintain, and manage relationships and network effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software and customer relationship management systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends required.

- This position requires driving a council vehicle or a personal vehicle; therefore, the individual must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess, and maintain a current, valid driver's license, and self-report any vehicle violations.
- Must be willing to obtain GSUSA membership ($25 annually) upon employment.

The Recruitment Specialist, Part-Time executes engagement and recruitment strategies outlined in the council's strategic plan to increase girl and adult members within their outlined footprint during key recruitment seasons.
The Recruitment Specialist, Part-Time is NOT a remote position. The individual MUST reside within North Carolina and will be required to attend in-person activities within the area of Durham & Orange county NC.
