Practice Manager – Optometric Management Group
Full-Time | Grove City/WCH (Multi-Location)
OMG Vision is seeking an experienced, driven, and people-focused Practice Manager to support our growing optometry practices. This position is ideal for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, enjoys improving operations, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the practice, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent patient service
- Lead, coach, and support front desk, technicians, and optical staff
- Monitor scheduling, staffing, and patient flow to maximize efficiency
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, HIPAA, and clinical standards
- Work closely with providers and leadership to implement practice initiatives
- Track and improve KPIs including patient satisfaction, productivity, and operational performance
- Assist with inventory, supplies, vendor coordination, and optical operations as needed
- Serve as a point of contact for staff concerns, patient escalations, and operational problem-solving
- Travel to multiple locations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of management experience in a medical practice (ophthalmology/optometry preferred but not required)
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Proven ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with performance coaching and team development
- Experience with EMR systems and scheduling software preferred
- Knowledge of optical and/or clinical workflows is a plus
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work across multiple locations
