Position Details:
Responsible for assisting the physician in providing direct patient care and health teaching designed to meet the age/developmental specific needs of the health care patientsDelivers quality care by offering excellent customer service by participating in a team-centered approach toward patient careAbout the Job:Collaboration with the Physician and nursing staff regarding:patient careholistic care involving patient familiesproficiency in order entryProviding clerical and patient-related support in the functional areas ofRecord-keepingSchedulingUtilizing knowledge of office policy and procedureVerification of patient demographicsPatient record filing and retentionVerification of physician ordersScheduling patients for appointments and referralsPreparation of the patient for examPatient billing and paymentsMeet and greet patients and maintain office suppliesRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum One (1) year experience in direct patient careMedical Assistant CertificationBLS CertificationExperience in phlebotomy and laboratory testing/specimen preparation (Preferred)
