    Overview PROGRAM ANALYST (F :

    Bowhead seeks a Program Analyst to join our team in supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Crane Division (NSWC-Crane).

    The Program Analyst must have extreme attention to detail and organization skills and must be an expert user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

    Microsoft Access skills are also crucial for reviewing feasibility and implementing recommendations. The Program Analyst will support the Administration or Program Management Support for the Pyrotechnic Operations Branch. The Program Manager shall provide support during the process of purchasing equipment, including market research and order tracking.

    The candidate shall assist in the writing and managing of Standard Operating Procedures, Supplemental Documents, Equipment Operating Procedures, and other documentation.

    Shall maintain various log books and inventories of data, enter information into the iPDM system, and serve as WXRP's Mail Orderly.


    Responsibilities Essential functions will include:

    • Tracking Financial information and monitoring NWA expenditures
    • Assisting with developing spend plans and future budgets
    • Assisting with developing plans for the timely purchasing of test equipment
    • Creating PowerPoint presentations detailing the planning that can be presented to sponsors
    • Assisting in the maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
    • Assisting in maintaining Equipment Operating Procedures (EOP)
    • Tracking Test Data
    • Managing Classified Data
    • Generating Lot Acceptance Letters
    • Tracking information in Ordnance Inventory System (OIS) Qualifications
    • A BA/S is preferred, however an Associate's degree is required. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
    • Additionally, qualified candidates must have at least one to two (1-2) years of experience in a Program Analyst role
    • Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and scheduling software
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
    • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

    Physical Demands:

    • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
    • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
    • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

    SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
    Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location. #LI-KM1
