    Description


    The Amazon Smart Vehicles finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role in shaping a strategically important part of the Amazon Devices business.

    This is an exciting opportunity to join this high growth business at Amazon.

    Amazon Smart Vehicles vision is to bring Amazon's digital serviced to the vehicle.

    The automotive cabin is going through a digital transformation and Amazon is leading the way with offerings like Alexa in the vehicle.

    With Alexa in the car, customers can use their voice to play music, control in-cabin comfort features like AC/heater, control smart home devices from the car, and access tens of thousands of skills built by third-party developers – all while keeping their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.


    This role will support the Amazon Smart Vehicles team to help drive growth of this business by providing analytical insights to business and finance leaders, driving core financial and business processes and goal setting.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Develop high quality, datadriven financial analyses that drive business insights and support informed decisionmaking by leadership
    • Develop relationships with business teams, implement new processes and drive continuous improvement
    Partner with stakeholders including Finance Technology, Product, Commercial and UX to deliver automation for customer funnel metrics and planning

    • Support Annual Forecasting for customer funnel metrics
    • Drive Headcount planning and location strategy

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
    • Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
    • Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
    • Experience working with stakeholders

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

    The base pay for this position ranges from $56,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market.

    Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
