Perform respiratory therapy assessments, including patient history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with respiratory disorders
• Administer respiratory medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatments accurately and timely

Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy

• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
• Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in critical care or ICU
• Strong knowledge of respiratory physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
• Proficiency in airway management techniques, including intubation and mechanical ventilation
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Proficiency in using respiratory therapy equipment and technology
