- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with respiratory disorders
- Administer respiratory medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatments accurately and timely
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in critical care or ICU
- Strong knowledge of respiratory physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in airway management techniques, including intubation and mechanical ventilation
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Proficiency in using respiratory therapy equipment and technology
