- Conduct thorough assessments of patients with retinal conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), retinal detachment, etc.
- Administer eye drops and medications as prescribed by the physician.
- Educate patients on their condition, treatment options, and necessary lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor patients during procedures such as intravitreal injections, laser treatments, and retinal surgeries.
- Assist ophthalmologists and retina specialists during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care instructions to patients.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment in clinical settings.

This position plays a crucial role in assisting ophthalmologists and retina specialists in providing high-quality care to patients with retinal conditions. Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with IV Therapy Certification.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Ideal Candidate: will have clinical experience in ophthalmology and p roficiency in ophthalmic diagnostic techniques, including fundus photography, optical coherence tomography (OCT), and fluorescein angiography .
Physical Requirements/Typical Working Conditions Environment:
Primarily in a temperature-controlled facility.
Work may require prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching.
