    Our work depends on Systems Administrator Sr Advisor joining our team to work alongside the VDI Engineer to develop and deploy a new VDI rollout project for the command.

    HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

    • Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
    • Work side-by-side with the engineer to maintain and deploy VDI thin clients
    • Will work directly with SCCM/MECM to ensure patching/security compliance is handled and with the Service Desk department to troubleshoot issues with the hardware/software
    • Project is still new to the command and open to valuable input to successfully complete this project in a timely manner
    Keeping master image and pools update and secured This is a hands on, direct with the customer positionWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    Education:
    Technical Training in VMware and VDI Infrastructure
    Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience

    Required Technical Skills:
    VMware, GPOs, AD, and VDI

    Security Clearance Level:
    Secret to start, must be able to attain TS/SCI

    Required Skills and Abilities:
    Communication and problem-solving skills will be highly valued

    Preferred Skills:
    FS Logix and/or Horizon Client experience preferred

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
