Job DescriptionAnchor Talent has partnered with a local Austin CPA firm to recruit a Senior Accountant. TheSenior Accountant will be responsible for supporting, coordinating, and administering full-cycle accounting functions and financial statement preparation for multiple clients advising on accuracy and compliance with GAAP and client needs.
Responsibilities:
Utilize technical expertise to identify consulting opportunities and propose client solutions
Advise, prepare, and maintain financial records and statements for multiple clients, utilizing various accounting systems.
Reconcile monthly bank statements and other balance sheet accounts as necessary.
Verify and post business transactions to clients accounting systems, obtaining their approval.
Prepare cash-flow reports and analyze financial information, including assets, liabilities, and capital.
Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, P&Ls, and other management reports to summarize current and projected financial positions.
Process and administer accounts payable, ensuring accurate vendor statements, proper authorization, and timely invoice payments when needed
Manage accounts receivable, ensuring the prompt collection of outstanding payments when required.
Administer supporting schedules to ensure compliance with GAAP and/or company requirements, covering areas such as insurance policies, fixed assets and depreciation, prepaids, accruals, goodwill, etc.
Process payroll and prepare payroll tax reports as needed.
Cultivate and maintain day-to-day client relationships, striving to exceed client expectations.
